I decided to sit NaNoWriMo out. I had a long few weeks (one reason I haven't been around much). I just got one book to my editor. I've finished a
major generator, started a contest, etc. I needed a break.
So NOW Ideas keep coming to me. It figures.
I think that NaNo, frankly, has become its very own phenomena, cultural/subcultural. I have never participated but it seems to have sort of soaked into fan/geek DNA, which may explain why I A) felt compelled to do it, and B) it seems my sitting it out only fired me up.
