He turned away from his vantage point over the evil that happened far below, and went back to his makeshift camp. He had found the perfect city for action, for getting his face known. He put on his special sungalsses, and retuned his Crime Radar to scan for screaming, finding it quite literally in the alley just next to him. Peering over, he could just make out figures of three or so muggers and a young lady, fighting for her handbag. Time to act.
He jumped. Cape fluttering wildly, he descended on the first mugger with a kick to the head, then smacked the second in the chest with a right hook and planted his left foot in the small of the third's back, who was wisely attempting to run away. The baddies dealt with, he quickly tied them together and fired a flare into the air. The woman was trying to thank him, but he couldn't be here when the police arrived. That would only complicate matters. With a click and a whirr he swooped back to his camp on a grappling hook. This city was indeed the right place. Now to make things a little more interesting.
He picked out a device from his utility belt that an old friend had given him long ago. It unfolded automatically, aerial opening out a good four feet. With a dextrous finger, then, he began to tap out the morse code signal that his old friend could not ignore.
Who wants to be my old friend, huh?
