This is my first story that isn't fanfiction and I'm trying really hard with it, so please be easy with your criticism. And let me know if I should
continue with it at all.
Chapter 1So what do you think? Should I continue it? How can I continue it?
"BRICE!" Graciela screamed when she saw Brice walk into school sleepily. Brice dodged her tackling hug nonchalantly. "Way to great your bestest buddy." Brice hugged her.
"Good morning Gracie m'dear." Brice said to her. "Where's my Katie?"
"Here I am!" Katelyn said smiling, going up to hug Brice. The two quickly kissed, then went to hold hands. "I missed you. Sorry I couldn't come visit. My parents wouldn't let me." Brice nodded.
"I understand. Your parents don't approve of me to begin with." Brice said. It was true. Mr. and Mrs. Pierce didn't like Brice, the reason being his life of crime, but they didn't want Katelyn actually getting away with committing suicide. The three misfits walked down the hall together in silence, headed towards the In School Suspension room (where Brice had a three day sentence). Graciela and Katelyn walked in with him. Graciela's dad was the ISS babysitter.
"Hello Mr. Garrett." Brice said to the man. Mr. Garrett was fairly young for a teacher, or at least he looked it, at age thirty five. He was also fairly knowledgeable in most school subjects.
"Brice. How was your term this time?" Mr. Garrett asked a slight chuckle in his voice. He was also a fairly easy going man, considering he let his daughter hang out with a criminal.
"Fine. Fine. I get to spend three days with you now." Brice said with a smirk. He hugged Katelyn and Graciela. "Bye ladies, meet you two outside of here after school."
"Naturally." They both said in unison. They walked out together, Katelyn headed to English and Graciela headed to Math.

Later, at lunch, while Graciela and Katelyn were eating.
"Grace, I've been meaning to tell you." Katelyn said to Graciela. The younger girl looked up at her upperclassman, a slice of pizza posed directly at her mouth.
"Yes?" Graciela asked her, putting the slice of pizza back down on her plate.
"Remember when we heard about Brice's latest sentence? Well..." Katelyn said, trailing off.
"You attempted it again didn't you?" Graciela asked. "How?"
"Silted my wrists. I would have succeeded to if mum hadn't found me." Katelyn said, taking off one of the work gloves she always wore to show Graciela the scars. Graciela sighed.
"You need to stop this Katelyn." Graciela said. "Brice isn't gonna like this."
"It's his fault for going to jail so much!" Katelyn said in her own defense.
"That doesn't give you an excuse for cutting." Graciela snapped back.
