I felt we needed one and I have the perfect story to start it off:
Some people move in lesbian circles. I move in bisexual dodecahedrons. |

It's gotta be slightly different for Transmen and all, but damn, he must really love his wife. The kid's gonna be off to a good start.

Can I complain/WTF? Yay!! Well, not really yay, but...
For some bizarre reason, my mother is more concerned about my appearance than I am. Or at least, my hair. I got it cut recently, and I have to use this round brush thingy majig to make it look nice, and she wants me to practice with using it today, as I don't have any school. However, I don't really feel like it, I more feel like drawing random cartoons and writing stories. Creative stuff. I asked her about just being happy with my doing creative stuff, and she simply said that she would rather me be creative with my hair right now. ...What? |

That is pretty bizarre. My parents used to care about my appearance, but then I grew my hair out below my shoulders and they gave up the ghost. It's back
to "normal" length now, but they still don't care at all about it. I bet I could chart a pretty dependable downward curve on a graph of hair
length vs. parents' level of interference.
Anyway, dye it white. "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |

No!!!! And it turned out that she wanted me to learn how how to use the round brush because she knew (darn it, I am way too predictable) that I wasn't
going to be able to figure out how to use it and that I should have more time to practice. Today, my hair was half round-brushed half flat. But in some ways
she still does care about it more than I do, because she always is thinking of ways that the hair dresser went wrong. She has to criticize it at random times,
until I get mad because, well, perhaps I like my hair. And then her boyfriend talks about how it would be better that way, and that he agrees with mom... agh!!
And I am not going to dye it white. I absolutely refuse. I will wear super hero garb for the rest of eternity (I actually did wear super hero garb into the
grocery store about twice) but I am not going to dye my hair white. And that is that.

But I like my hair color!! And they don't bother me that much about it. It just bugs me a lot when they do.

See Arr is right - do whatever you want to do with the follicles growing on your scalp. Other people have a right to give you their opinions, sure, but you
also have the right to blissfully ignore them.
Seriously, though, dye it green. "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |
