"Mr Blue Sky" - proper feel good tune. Electric Light Orchestra did the original and it's just been covered by Lily Allen - both versions are
good. Or else, the soundtrack to Avenue Q, pretty much anything by Robbie Williams or McFly. Or "Drops of Jupiter" by Train. And Sister Hazel.
Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Also, Less than Jake, Mad Caddies, Modest Mouse, Cake, Motion City Soundtrack, They Might be Giants. And, for Humor, Worm Quartet. Gem Sealed Signature:

Songs: Brad Paisley - (Cooler) Online (Bit country, but pay attention to the end Marco Borsato - Rood (Is in Dutch but it's a very good song. #1 for like 25 weeks) It's really hard to suggest when you like 'everything'. I have to much music for people like you

If you're looking for Steampunk music, I suggest Abney Park and Vernian Process, the only two artists I know of who actually use that moniker to describe
themselves.
If you're looking for random stuff I like, try Dragonforce, or Nightwish, or Edguy, or Sonata Arctica, or Stratovarius, or Kamelot. You may notice a trend. "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |

I find myself doubting he'll appreciate the latter bunch, Boss.
Speaking of Abney Park, did you catch my message about their new stuff when you got back from Greece? Hang on, I'll link you to the page to save you from hunting it down yourself. Ah, here's the post. I hate to say it but those new songs sound flat and uninspired, like they're trying too hard.... Ah well, there'll always be "Stigmata Martyr" and "Holy War"! I didn't know you liked Stratovarius, Boss, but I suppose it stands to reason. A band you should definitely check out is Pyramaze. They're good old power metal, with a lot of progressive elements. You can download a few of their songs (full length) from the website, I recommend you start with "Mighty Abyss." |

If you like eighty's music....
There's "Friday I'm in Love" by The Cure... that's my favorite song like ever. Then there's also "I wanna be a Cowboy" by Boy's Don't Cry. And, if you like that, i'll come up wit some more songs... |

LDF: I like it. Very clean sound. Nice.
Frankie: Avantasia, Freedom's Call, Aina, and Rhapsody are all in my playlist already, and awesome to boot. Thy Majestie, though, is new and awesome to boot. "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |

I tend to default to the classics: Queen, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Blue Oyster Cult, and Billy Joel. Don't say Classical is boring until you've heard The Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Mannahiem Steamroller, and Philip Glass. The Trans-Siberian did a
version of "The Nutcracker" that was basically heavy metal backed by by a full orchestra. My dance instructor heard it and wanted to change our
yearly edition of the ballet. Heavy metal and toe-shoes--what a combination. Also, Metallica's S&M tour had the San Fran Orchestra backing them;
"Master of Puppets" sounds so much cooler with violins.
I like opera too, but I'll admit that's an accquired taste.

Queen is my absolute favorite band ever! When it comes to classical I'm a bit average: Vivaldi, Beethovens' 9th, Wagner and Rossini. I've also seen
the Matthäus Passion twice (once in the Grand Church of Naarden and once in the Concert Building in Amsterdam) It completely blew me away. It was especially
cool since we went with school and got our seats for free (subsidised) and all those snubbish people were asking themselves what the heck we were doing there
