For some reason, this thing* creeps the hell out of me.

I'll say - it looks like two pairs of severed satyr legs dancing around each other, it sounds like a cross between a reed flute and a nest of hornets, and it stumbles when you kick it?

It's like two pairs of human legs wearing trousers stuck on a metal box.
I want to cry. |

Be a good idea for Xothu though. A silvery creature with black legs that can't fall down (even when kicked), has no head and makes a humming noise at all times so is crap at ambush.

That ... is really goddamn spooky.
I wish so much that they'd not put 'fur' on the legs like that. It's very disturbing. But then I'm also phobic about robots that replace real things (like... dogs, cats, people, etc) so this is RIGHT up there with Terminator and the cowboy in Westworld. Thaaaaanks. It is pretty darn amazing though, when it takes a good kick to the side it *reaches to balance itself*. That's very good to know, that in future we'll have that capability of having bots that can compensate for unstable ground, being hit, etc. Whether that's to 'aim at the target to shoot more accurately' or 'rescue the child from the earthquake fallen house' ... dunno. |

One of my friends at university has a phobia of peas.
Another has a phobia of Victorian children. And a third has a phobia of buttons. |

So, a Victorian child wearing a buttoned shirt and eating peas would pretty much send these three into convulsions, eh?
