A machine that can (and by "can" I mean "will hopefully one day be able to" ) turn thoughts into words! I have terrible troubles trying to write down my ideas because I think too damn fast for my hands to keep up. It's why I rarely ever write down ideas with a pen and paper anymore if I can help it the lag between thoughts and words is too long and I miss things.
Just imagine being able to write anything you can think of, instantaneously! The spelling and grammar would probably be atrocious (the voice in my head tends not to give a damn about dangling participles and comma placement), but getting it down is what really matters.
Also, people who can't speak will be able to do so again. Everyone wins!
