As I said before, I've never played either Diablo. I barely know the plot. But I have watched the trailer about three or four times today, simply because
I'm such a cinematics junkie. Like Blizz or not, you've got to admit they have some supah-fine cinematics.

You watched a trailer four times! Hah!
It's been about 36 hours since Doctor Who was broadcast and I've watched the whole thing three times already! ... I'm such a fangirl. I might watch it again... Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

My theory on the truth behind the Doctor.
Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Ha, I saw that. An interesting idea, Buck-Buck.
And yes, I did watch that episode, and I did go a little insane about it, but not nearly as much as some other people seem to be. As the Doctor Who macro community would probably put it, Mt. Fandom went "asplode!" Oh, and Frankie, if you're looking for a server on WoW, you should join either Alliance side Blackwater Raiders or Horde side Smolderthorn. Preferably Smolderthorn. Why? That's where my characters are. |

I would love to Lilith, but I'm on the European realms so I can't.

Mt. Fandom went "asplode!"As Jack said in The Doctor Dances, and the Doctor himself stated in The Fires of Pompeii: IT'S VOLCANO DAY! Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

We only just got the Titanic Christmas special. Which was a total disappointment.
As to Cool Things, I just got back from four days on a tropical island. It is so cold in Sydney at the moment, and so basking in such wonderful heat was just magnificent! And after all the confusion and stress of this semester, I really needed the break. Thank the gods for inventing islands and the equator! |

...Sydney gets cold?
Forgive the American, but it never even crossed my mind that cold was a possibility in Australia. I mean, I know it's opposite and everything, but the common stereotype is Australia=Hot. So how cold does it get? |

The Lady is mistaken. It does not get cold in Australia.
Or, at least, it is not terribly cold in Sydney at the moment. According to a quick google for temperature: Tue 19°C | 12°C Wed 17°C | 10°C Thu 15°C | 4°C Fri 16°C | 10°C Wait, I take it back. Four degrees? That IS cold. Though apparently it was 3 degrees here last night. Brr. Nonetheless I much prefer cold temperatures to hot. Still, I'd hardly call those daytime temperatures "cold." Point of fact, Auckland NZ is another place that doesn't get particularly cold. I recall standing around in a t shirt in Winter there while everyone around me huddled together in jackets. |

Ah. See, living in New England, people tend to learn really quickly that temperature is all a matter of perspective. Yes, that's cold, but during the
winter here it regularly gets down to... hang on, let me do the calculations... Well, 15 degrees F, which is somewhere around -9. Of course, it fluctuates
wildly, but usually the range is between 10F and 40F.
But thinking about it from a summer perspective (65F to 95F), and inserting my preconceptions that Australia=Hot, yes, that is cold. |

Well, I grew up and still live in the mountain west US. There are two seasons out here: very very hot, and very very cold. Let's see here....Tomorrow's
supposed to be 98F, or 37C. It'll be hotter at the end of the week, 101F or 39C. Lucky for us, it's a dry heat! 16% humidity currently, it says.
Winter, however, it gets to (well, it was unseasonably cold last winter, but still) I'd say 20sF, or -5sC, I think. But it's a dry cold!

I don't even know where to begin on this topic. But actually it's really warm today already.

Hey Wolfie, it just occurred to me that every single one of the albums I've acquired recently would be of interest to you. So, a quick list:
Abney Park - The Death of Tragedy. Not quite as good as I was hoping for, but enjoyable nonetheless. "Stigmata Martyr" is naturally still my favourite off this one. Kamelot - Ghost Opera "The Second Coming Not the first time I've bought a Kamelot album up in Auckland, only to go down to Wellington a year later and find a better version of the same album. (The excess spending might seem, well, excessive, but the first one only cost me $10 and I can trade it right back in for the same amount. The funny thing is, I don't think Ghost Opera ever saw a "normal" version! Both of the copies I have are either special or limited edition!) Rhapsody (Of Fire) - Symphony of Enchanted Lands Finally found a reduced price version of this album, and I was in a perfect position to buy it. Mmm, I love the use of harpsichord and pipe organ. Ayreon - 01011001 (Special edition) What can I say? It's great! I haven't listened to the whole thing yet (it is, after all, 100 minutes long) and I've heard that it drags a bit towards the end, but what I have heard has been awesome. I just love the industrial rhythm in "Age Of Shadows", "Comatose" has a nice memorable melody, and "Beneath The Waves" feels deep and powerful. Not to mention how prominently Anneke Van Giersbergen is featured, it's great hearing her singing metal again! |

Here is the Doctor's eleventh regeneration (I wish).

I would watch Doctor Who religiously if the Doctor were female.

I think the Doctor should regenerate into a woman.Yeah, it's controversial. Some people think that since they gave him a daughter now, he won't do it. But who knows? I think he should always be male but that's just my opinion. Another controversy is him becoming black. The writers and creators need to be careful ... they could be playing with fire if they alter things too much. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.
