I rather think everyone wants our wonderful, spunky tenth doctor to stay on until he's as old as Tom Baker is now. Haha, well maybe not quite, but you get
the sentiment.

Mickey and Jackie are both scheduled to appear, but no mention of Pete.
And let us not forget that when we last saw Jackie, she had just discovered she was pregnant. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Silly Wolfgang, the world won't end until 23 December 2012. The Mayans said so.

Man, that Christmas is gonna suck so much.

Silly CR, I trust quantum uncertainty far more than I trust the Long Count. The Mayans never even attached any sort of apocalyptic significance to the 13th
baktun. It just means the end of a cycle of time, not the end of the world. It'd be the same as if everybody nowadays had freaked out at
the end of something as simple and harmless as the end of the 20th century, for instance...

Nine and a half days to go.
Which is just enough time to see what happens in the Doctor Who finale. Man, I'd be pissed off if it went before then. All this "God particle" talk reminds me of a quote I heard recently. A Christian friend said to me how another friend of his had stated, "I'd be really gutted if I missed the audible voice of God". We labelled it, "Understatement of the Week". Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

I just want our entire earth to be consumed by a rogue strangelet. Is that too much to ask?

The last noise ever heard in the whole universe would be Boss going, "Excelle...."

Interesting fact about the Mayan thing: I was once on another, far stupider message board. The vogue thing had become to create a useless topic with a title
that started, "Ask a....(fill in the blank)" and have people have you ask utterly useless questions. This particular one happened to be "Ask
someone from the year 2058." Someone asked what would happen on December 23, 2012. The topic creator simply said, "The Mayan Long Count resets. I
thought people understood this in your time."
Incidentally, my theory is that they were carving the calendar onto the rock, ran out of room, and decided that's when the count would end. As for the LHC, I wish I could be the one giving helicopters cancer. |

Looking good Frankie
But, penultimate Doctor Who: I laughed. I cried. (Well, one tear.) I haven't stopped shivering. I can't believe I didn't notice the missing planet thread. I may have to watch the episode every day until next Saturday. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

I feel so ashamed to admit that of Blizzard's creations: I beat Warcraft 2 by cheating, I've only played about half of Warcraft 3, I watched my brother
play The Frozen Throne (War3 expansion), and I play World of Warcraft, but I have only the demo of Starcraft, never played Warcraft 1, never played Lost
Vikings (I sort of have an excuse for that, I was probably only like, five when it came out), and never played either Diablo. My brother was kind enough to
bring me up to speed on the plots of Starcraft and Diablo 1 and 2...
Curse you Blizzard, for your irresistably sexy graphics! Making me wanna work in their cinematic department...grumble grumble.... |

I only played Warcraft 3 and its expansion by cheating, too. That was fun. And I cheated on Starcraft.
I played through Diablo 2 and the expansion MOSTLY on my own, but with a tad bit of help from my brothers. Blizzard rocks hardcore. |

HOW CAN YOU TALK ABOUT BLIZZARD AT A TIME LIKE THIS! THE JUDOON ARE BACK! ROSE IS BACK! DONNA HAS SOMETHING ON HER BACK!

BLAAARGH! SEQUELS! RAAAGH! *Turns to music to calm himself down, only to remember he just purchased Ghost Opera; The Second Coming, and goes ballistic at
sequels again.* AAAAAAAYAAAARGH!
All that money they must be making and they still don't have the guts to try something new! Bah! Fie on thee Blizzard! You too Bungie, I don't want to see another Halo out of your offices ever again! *Deep breath.* Right, I think that's mostly out of my system. Yet another reason why I'm in need of a new computer! Patience, patience. Maybe for once I'll be able to play some computer games when they're first released! BLIZZARD I ADORE YOU AND SHALL UNTIL THE END OF MY DAYS AAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUGHHHHHHH!!!Oi! Don't encourage them! And stop sucking up! Just kidding Lil'. Seriously though, I'm looking forward to playing the new games but I just don't see why they can't put all that potential of theirs into creating a new world to work with. Their last franchise creation was Starcraft (unless you count World of Warcraft as being a separate entity from the Warcraft trilogy in spite of a unified setting) and that was ten years ago! Ah well, I'm sure they have their reasons (hopefully they're better than "we like money",) I'd just like to hear them. |
