I am not still teething! My wisdom teeth are coming through and not hurting in the slightest, which rocks so much considering how much pain my friends are going through with it!

I'm getting my wisdom teeth out during winter break.
Noooooot really looking forward to it, but hey. It's got to be done at some point. |

Got mine out in August of last year, never looked back. Sure, it hurt like the dickens for a week or so, but it's infinitely better than having my teeth literally pushing each other out of my jaw.
I can still taste the bitterness of the teabags my mother crammed in the back of my mouth to stop the swelling, though. Eugh. Don't try that if you can help it, it'll put you off tea for months. ----- ~ Wolfgang Kaiser, Zeppelin Vigilante ~ "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |

Oh no, my mom's all about the ice cream, jello, and bags packed with ice cubes method. Also sitting in recliners in front of the TV.
It's not easy to fool her into thinking you're sick when you're not, but when you really are sick, she's an excellent caretaker. |

I needed to get my wisdom teeth out before I left for college, but the schedule this summer was a bit screwy, what with the folks moving and such...
My old dentist said at first I'd need to be completely out for the procedure, then he changed his mind next visit. Either way, here's how I view it: I'll have to have teeth pulled, which I don't like, and b) wow, something my teeth aren't completely screwed up about! |

I already had four teeth out when I had my braces put in, so I'm guessing maybe that's the reason they don't hurt ... because there is a bit of room.

I thought I'd have room for my wisdom teeth; I had five out before I got braces. Well, and then a permanent came in, but still.
Nope, I just have a small mouth. Physically speaking. |

Dang, I wish I had that problem. I had to get an implant because I'm missing my two front teeth (bottom ones anyway). But, as if to make up for the multiple surgeries, I don't have wisdom teeth.

Yeah, I had a couple of permanent teeth that never appeared, something I inherited from my mom.

If my eyes could grow back, I'd constantly put them out to prove my point to stupid people. *nods*

I hate it when I'm very hungry, but seeing/handling food suddenly makes me feel quite ill. Bleah.

One that just occurred to me- If you've got a weird, pervy obsession with ritual artefacts, is that a meta-fetish? A fetish squared, if you will?

And now I can see in my mind's eye a very embarrassed archaeologist sitting uncomfortably in a seedy saloon in Louisiana and sweating under his straw hat as he explains to a sultry-eyed vodou queen that he would dearly love to purchase that profane black idol she's got hidden in the bayou, money is no object...

There are dozens of people believed to be gods alive on earth today- everyone from creepy cult leaders to random plantation workers to Prince Phillip. So, what I'm proposing is, we book a convention centre for the weekend somewhere
and invite all of them- paid airfare, free booze, everything. Just see what happens.
Think about it. |

I want front row seats. Does 'everything' involve weaponry of any kind?
