I skulk around my house. And while looking for a summer job, I intermittently play World of Warcraft, write this bloody novel, draw some pics, say hilariously
disturbing things, and sleep much. Interspersed with eating. And wandering around. Wandering I say!
......I also appears to be nearing the sleep cycle of my day. |

When I'm not here...
* I read a lot (currently this). * I talk to my boyfriend and whine that he's not here. * I play a bunch of games. * I write - either my novel or something else. * I dance through the streets. * I sell shoes in a well-known shoe shop. * I study Creative Writing at university in London, but I'm on summer now. Next year I will commute from my home, rather than live in London. * And then with whatever time is left, I eat, sleep, see my friends, gossip, bitch, go on long walks or long drives to nowhere in particular, and get wound up by my mother. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Lab Technician. Also, I write and make art and carve things and hang out with people and work out grammars for languages that don't exist. And sometimes I
feel vaguely guilty about not volunteering for the Obama campaign or starting my own literary movement, like the Beat Generation- you know, Kerouac and
Ginsberg and all those cats. Other times I dream about living in a world that appreciates the value of verdigris and soapstone gargoyles and zeppelins and
masks made of beaten copper, or at least going somewhere other than the American Midwest.
And also I have a girlfriend.

Most of the time I'm a dual theater/creative writing major in a small northwestern college in the US. This sounds pretty blase, but it also involves
fighting genre-ism daily, listening to my professors gripe about the state of the world, dealing with a conservatory-style program in a college that isn't
interested in allowing that kind of devotion without giving up everything (I spent 30 hours in two and a half days in the theater one weekend, and I kept
leaving early and coming late), and trying to juggle life, two majors, and get a fledling writing career of the ground (with no help from the departments I
work in, I might add). So I spend most of my time not in the sactum being frustrated. I'm real good at that.
I don't have to put up with it much longer, though. I graduate next fall. Huzzah! This summer I working as general maitenence for the theater here on campus. Beats the heck out of going home though. What a long, strange trip it's been. |

Playing FPS games Talking to people on MSN Talking in German to people on MSN Chatting in german while playing FPS games WITH german people Playing the Piano (will upload some vids to YT soon, I promise) Lucidly dreaming or thinking randomly, which I do rather a lot. And I'm at a party tonight from about seven til three. |

By day I wrestle with literary theory, history and French, and assist my ailing mother (she's usually hardier than I am, but she fell a month ago and has
yet to receive treatment on her shoulder, thanks to our fantastic free health care
 ). On my off time, I write increasingly terrible attempts to
shatter my writer's block, and worry about the world's problems.
By night I am a level 60 Blood Elf warlock, fighting crime (but really more often committing it) and working hard for tuppence in a desperate bid for an epic mount and some decent gear for once, in a world where pretty much everyone already has it. Oh, and occasionally I sleep. And despite all this, I couldn't be happier.

I struggle to plan for an uncertain future, apply for the night shift wherever I can, work at KFC, write up to separate campaign settings, hang out with the
guys-n-girls I knew back in high school, and struggle daily to avoid becoming my father.
Also, I read webcomics and make stupid jokes.
Because sometimes you just have to ask yourself "How does one fight an indestructible being that moves faster
than time?"
