1. Silly io9, there's no such thing as deevolution. That's called "evolution in a different direction".
2. Take that, creationists. If I had any reason to believe it would change their minds, I'd link that article to every ID nut I came across.

Silly Wolfgang, there's room for evolution IN creationism. You just haven't met the right creationists.
Also! Who says the fish isn't evolving? I'd call armored plating an improvement, wouldn't you? |

I certainly would. I find it a shame that they all died out. Though it's probably a good thing because there's enough other things in the ocean that
make me wary about entering it. We don't belong in there! Everything can bite, eat, sting or suffocate us.
