Come to think of it, your power is pretty suspect, too. Depends on the scale. A superhero technopath would get some degree of control over nearby technology, while the supervillain equivalent power would involve large legions of automated mecha. I'm not sure what my weakness would be. Probably the incredibly likely and mundane. Maybe Murphy's Law.

It just detailed how everything can be explained scientifically, such as why we look in the same place over and over again for something and it only appears about the fifth time we look, or why our queue moves slowest, why floorboards squeak loudest when we need them to be quiet and, of course, why toast lands butter side down.
