Let's get the whingeing out of the way first: granted, "Don't Believe Anything Day" is either juvenile or annoying or both, because we're
all above-average Sanctumite superbeings with no time for a single day's worth of amusement at other peoples' expense, and a no-nonsense, post-ironic,
hypocritically dichotomous worldview that subconsciously defines any activity with more than a few thousand participants as either visionary or overrated, and
also because we're secretly all terrified of being proven wrong.*
But it's also hilarious, because Google's going to Mars, and xkcd and QC and Dinosaur Comics are having some sort of wacky body-switching fiesta, and YouTube has successfully rickrolled thousands upon thousands of people (hint: try some of the Featured Videos; that's no Star Wars Goldberg, is it?). And the day literally only began a mere 2 minutes ago, on my side of the planet!
So, what pranks have you ousted, this year or in the past? What pranks have you fallen for? What pranks (gods forbid) have you perpetrated?
