(Wrong again!) It's a huge collection of names from all around the world and from many historical periods: Kate Monk's Onomastikon. It's a great way to cobble together character names with a particular ethnic "look and feel". I do that too - I have a tendency to stick to names with a 'lee' suffix; Ellie, Kelly, Lily, Milly, Billy, Emily................make it stop!
