Between Sci-Fi and fantasy,which would you choose?Why? |

Science Fantasy! I don't believe in thinking inside boxes; I believe in breaking those boxes into their component particles, picking my favourite bits, and
making them into a better box - or a pyramid, or a dinosaur, or a hot air balloon! Therefore, my favourite fantastical books are those that break the
conventions of either (or both) genre(s) in a way I haven't seen before. Perdido Street Station, for instance, to which I apparently can't
stop referring.

I prefer fantasy,because...well...I don't know.I just always had a love for it. I like sci-fi too,but I just prefer fantasy.
I can't change who i'm meant to be,and who i'm meant to be is who I want to be,and who I want to be is myself.
Strive to be strange! |

I'm big on speculaive fiction, future history, magic realism and postmodernism ... bizarro looks fun though.
And you missed out this one. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Really, Bean, a Rickroll? How passé.
I'm disappointed in you. Everyone knows its being phased out in favor of the Boltonroll.

I so wish I hadn't fallen for that, but curiosity got the better of me.
Besides, I've never done a Rickroll before and felt like one. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

YOU BASTARD! I was hoping that with Lucy out of the country for three weeks I wouldn't think about it cos she's not about to tell me!
Great, now to start forgetting about it again. Everything we do is a choice. Oatmeal or cereal, highway or side streets, kiss her or keep her, we make
choices and we live with the consequences. If someone gets hurt along the way we ask for forgiveness, it's the best anyone can do.

Fantasy... really, I don't know why, but I've always enjoyed fantasy books far more than science fiction... humm.

Besides, it could've been worse. For instance, you could've just lost the game. *furious, monstrous howling* ANACHARIIIIIIIIIIIIS! I love how, even with all the amazingly varied subgenres of fantasy and sci-fi out there, we've most definitely not even glimpsed the bottom of the barrel yet. There's room for more subgenres than there are works of literature out there, for Eris's sake. We just have to think harder. "Kidnapping Nubile Victorian Ladies Since 1867" |
