Who or what are the 'Ancients' that the people of the Ninth World are waiting for? Did they build the Catacombs on the First World? The Arcology on the third?
And where did the robots there come from?

What's the deal with the dragons?

When was the age of ivory, Milady?

What secrets do, say, Brath, or Shetugu, or the Talomihn Empire, or the Kingdom of Dark Stones hold? And what other countries are out there? [well, okay, this is more me nagging, but... sorry. I'll shut up now.]

Are Doom Pheasants as cool as I think they are?

What is going on with the Legendary Beasts, anyway? Are they like the angels from Evangelion, somehow what the different races could have been? or what?

What's the current situation, Geopolitically? Who're the most powerful nations? who're vassal states? traders? hermit kingdoms? Kyrosos and Nherru and the Kingdom of Blue Moons, at least, were superpowers, but they're long-gone. Who took their place?

I'm imagining the Woodwoses as being small, ape-like people; think Sasquatch meets King Louie from the disney Jungle Book, with a bit of Tolkeins' Pukel-men and pre-celtic Britain thrown in. The victorian idea's interesting, though- do tell more.

As for the Skull-tigers, well, dibs on those for now... expect a bit about them tomorrow.

I've not a clue about the clockwork-things, honestly. It'll take a more intrepid Astroarchaelogist than I to determine that. I suspect the Eye of Nherru figures into it somehow, too- that's where the Zikal crystals came from, and Kaluang Clah and Intli seem to be using them as a power source. Not to mention Nherru's mechanical soldiers. LDF?
