Since they seem to be Lilith's pet project, I'll largely address this to her.
A friend of mine pointed out that there's little solid evidence so far as to how the Lilithian subgroups became as they are today. Also, there's (currently) no record of Lilithian Civilisation, so we don't know where they live!
He also wondered whether when they were a single culture they had a single king/queen type ruler? He suggested that perhaps during the reign of the last monarch of the united Lilithian people, the monarch had many children each with a different view of how Enlightenment would be reached, and when the monarch died Lilithian society split and rallied behind one of each of the heirs.
That's assuming of course that the various Lilithian "ethnicities" weren't always just there as part of the whole and at some stage split over their differences regarding Enlightenment.
Hmm, a thought that's just occurred to me; perhaps the Lilithians were once divided as they are now, but joined together for countless millenia until the differences in belief regarding Enlightenment caused them to divide once more?
Just some food for thought.
