I know Lethe, Matt and Asmo may have already seen these, but I still I like to show off my stuff here... You can click on the images for full-view. Critique, comments, whatever you like are most welcome and appreciated, but don't feel like you have to. Thanks for looking.

I love aphephobia. ^^ So... pretty, and sad, and strange.
And Memory reminds me so much of the Silent Hill movie. Like you're about to catch on fire and dissapear. o_o |

All quite good. What hits me the most is you have a definite ability to capture a mood.

Very nice and cool and clever.
I find hippopotomonstrosoquippadelaphobia funnier. And lutraphobia is odd too... |

Asmo, Thanks! Pretty sad and strange is absolutely awesome in my books. Although, I haven't seen silent hill, I shall also take that as a compliment since it sounds cool.
Mr.Siterunner, Thanks, as well! I really appreciate that, as I try to as hard as I can. Ablean, Thank you. Although, I suppose if you had Aphephobia, or any of those, you wouldn't find it funny at all... |

Quote: Yeah, but then again our language very rarely did make any sense... For example, the word "monosyllabic" or however you say it certainly isn't useful. And "abbreviated" is soooo long with no shortened form. There are some words that mean what they say though: Polysyllabic, Pentasyllabic, Awkwardnessful, Tiny, Wee, Short, Brief, Unhyphenating, Hypen-using, Ten-letter'd, Common, Seventeen-lettered There are more that are context dependant: Unsung (when not sung) Spoken (when spoken) Listed (in the present context) English, Espanol, etc Pronounceable |

I LOVE aphephobia!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is really stunning.
A memory, I don't think hit me in the right way - I can see it is technically brilliant and emotive, but... it's not aphephobia! As for the photography - my first though was that you'd snatched them from National Geographic or something. They're super! You should come out to Australia, you'd pick up some brilliant photos! (esp. the sun rise in the desert - the sky goes a pastel rainbow!) But anyway, they are brilliant and I am really glad you've started posting again! I'll have to check your deviantart when I have a chance... |

My area is pretty good for photography. You can stand on the hills of the South Downs on a clear day and see for miles and miles, undamaged fields.
I should really go do some one day... |

Aibophobia? Damn. That's so stupid. Whoever names the phobias should be shot. Can you imagine haivng on those phobias, but not being able to tell anyone you have it, since you fear the name of it, as well? So stupid.
Cassandra, Thank you kindly! I get the same sort of feeling from "a memory", as well. I love the idea I had behind it, but I didn't do justice to that. I'd love to visit Australia! I know a lot of people who have been both there an NZ, and they tell me it's absolutely stunning. I mean, if I could drive, and I had a car there are so many places around here (in about a 15 mile radius) I would love to visit and take pictures of, but wouldn't dare walk to. I see them a lot, too. Just when I'm driving around with someone, but I'm always too nervous to ask them to stop. The pictures that I have shown about are all less than a half a mile away from where I'm sitting right now, definately within walking distance. I obviously don't travel much. Ablean, oh I'm sure! I'd love to visit so many places around the world. The only country I've ever been to is the US... Rather boring here. edit: Oh, also, my'lady... Aphephobia is avilable as a print. If you sign up for deviantART and add it to your wishlist, I can send you a copy. |

In aphephobia, is that her arm reaching for her back? It almost looks bigger, like an adults arm. Hidden meaning?
