Anime. It's everywhere, and its influence stretches even farther. And if there's one thing we see a lot of from anime it's Bishounen, those mega-metrosexual guys with great hair, and Catgirls, the be-eared, be-tailed beauties. Even a quick examination of any art site will quickly yield a legion of gorgeous anime guys and feline females.
So it's time for a showdown - with a Beauty Contest! We're going to bit the prettyboys versus the catgirls to find out just who *IS* the prettiest of them all! We'll have one winner from the Bishounen, one winner from the Catgirls - and one overall winner from both!
So your mission, if you choose to accept it, it to start drawing randomly-generated Bishounen and Catgirls - and to make them as Bishounen-y and Catgirl-y as possible! From angsty guys so gorgeous it hurts, to catgirls so cute you spontaneously develop cavities just from viewing the art, let's take the popular anime stylings all the way!
The art will be judged on how well you follow the description as well has how far you can develop the description into something unique - a sense of character, a unique styliziation, or really embodying classic anime tropes.
What Generators You May Use:
* The Bishotron - For Bishounen, of course.
* The Catgirl Generator - For Catgirls, of course.
Rules:
* You may make up to two entries. The entries may be in either the Bishounen or Catgirl category. You can enter your two entries in one or both categories. Please note which category you are entering (hey, with some Bishounen, guessing the gender *IS* a challenge).
* You may use other generators if you wish to add more contents or detail to the entry.
* You may submit "for fun" entries as many times as you want. These are entries entered with no goal of them being judged, but to share with others. You may swap "for fun" and official entries at any time.
* You may use ANY medium as long as you can eventually put it on the web as an image - painting, CGI, cosplay, sculpture, baked goods, etc.
* You are responsible for hosting your entry in an image format at your own site, deviantart, photobucket, or another such place etc. Direct submissions of art will be rejected in most cases. If your entry has nudity, you are responsible for warnings or proper classifications on the storage site. It is reccomended you post generator results at your hosting site so people can judge how well you followed them.
* Keep things within reasonable good taste. Nudity will be accompanied with a warning on this site as well.
* Entries must be made specifically for this contest - previous entries or other generator-driven art may not be used.
