Our family has three cats, Spice, Maya, and Kyrra.  Spice is the oldest and, until recently, has owned me and, more specifically, the last foot of my bed.  She
at least 14 and hasn&#39;t so much grown old as grown cranky and tough in her old age.  She now sleeps only on the heated waterbed, but occasionally gets up
the energy to take one of the other two to the cleaners.

On the other hand, I&#39;ve never seen Kyra panic quite like that before. She was all right provided she was on the other side of a glass door, being held, and
was fully aware that the dog had no more chance of working the doorknob that she did. But when they first met without the glass door...well...peace talks were
