Races, I usually think about their sense of aesthetics, their architecture, and the colo(u)r of their language. it's hard to explain; Japanese, for instance, is a dark reddish-purple; French and Spanish are nice shades of orangey-yellow, while Italian a greener shade and at the same time purple; english, dutch, and the scandinavian languages are various shades of blue.

Moon elves: silver,purple
Wood elves: green,light green
Blood elves: silver,blonde,brown
dark elves: blonde
high elves: blonde,dark,brown,silver
